Now, not only does each pod contain 90% less plastic than one single-use plastic bottle, but by partnering with Plastic Bank we have stopped 5,000,000 single-use plastic bottles from entering our oceans. With each sip of a Vitapod drink you take, you can feel good about making our planet a better place.
Why a pod?
Plastic bottle waste is destroying the planet, which is why our pods use 1/16th the plastic of a single-use bottle with a goal of developing a fully biodegradable pod.
Studies show powder tubs lose nutrients as they sit on your shelf after opening. By creating the seal on the pod, we keep it locked in for a fresh and nutritious drink anytime, anywhere.
Stick packs and powder tubs are made with materials that simply cannot be recycled, including metal foils. Our fully-recyclable pods will stay out of landfills for a healthier planet.

Recycle
When you’re done with your pods, throw them into one of our recycling bags and send them back to us. We’ll make sure they never end up in the trash.
Bottles
Each American throws away on average 346 single-use plastic bottles. Our starter kit comes with a reusable, aluminum bottle so that you never need to trash the plastic again.
Viogradable
We’ve figured out how to make the plastics in our pods break down over time in case they do end up in a landfill. We plan to off a fully biodegradable pod in the future.
Pods
Each pod packed with vitamins, minerals and plant-based antioxidants is made with 90% less plastic than one single-use water bottle. We pack way more punch and reduce the waste.
